The Haunted High

A life-threatening accident reveals to Finn that he is a werewolf; the next morning, he receives an invitation to a secluded high school. Finn quickly realizes that the school is in fact an academy for monsters that is far more perilous and full of adventure than he ever expected. But Haunted High has had a dangerous history with werewolves. Can Finn survive monster politics, life-threatening pranks, and teachers more likely to kill him than help him?

When Finn awakens to find a ghost staring at him from the foot of his bed, he realizes that if he can’t close the doorway his uncle opened, everyone in the Academy will be in danger. But the answer lies much closer to home. Finn has to face the heartache of his past and find out why his mother really left Haunted High. Fighting to survive ghosts, parent night, and possessed animals, Finn knows if he wants to end the threat to the Academy forever, he has to face his own demons, as well as those who threaten the school.

When Professor Briggs vanishes with the piece of demon heart, Finn choses to go after him. But the coordinates lead to the feared mythic labs where even Finn’s friends are afraid to go. Searching for leads, Finn comes across the one thing he doesn’t expect, the scent of another werewolf. Jumping down a rabbit hole of gruesome experiments, a deadly demon bite, and creatures straight from his nightmares, Finn risks losing everything, including his heart, to rescue the girl and unveil the secret she's vowed to keep.

When a message confirms Finn's worst nightmare, he plunges into a desperate rescue. While using himself as bait might not be the best move, it just might work if he can convince his best friend to let him take the risk. But werewolves don’t do well in cages. Can Finn hold the wolf at bay long enough for the ruse to work, or will the trap he set become his doom?

But Finn has other problems that start with his own kidnapping and end with a revelation of such magnitude it has the potential to change the way he sees his entire world.
