I was just a regular guy until I tapped into the primordial power of humanity known as the Archon System. Now, I have powers humans were always meant to have. Upsetting power balances is never simple, though. Heaven won't like what I've done, and you can bet that hell will be after a piece of me too. What they'll find, though, is that I'm not the only human with the Archon System. Humanity is rising up to become what we were always meant to be - the greatest power in existence.

I was a nobody until my diving team conquered the first two dungeons in the Path of Progression. And now? I’m famous. Throughout Aspatria, everyone knows my name, and they’re all talking about just how powerful our team can become. My enemies are taking notice too. After defeating the fabled Slayer in the second dungeon, I know someone is waiting to take their revenge on me. I need to watch my back as we set our sights on the next two dungeons.

The system grants many classes, most of them common. Nine of ten children who receive a class and become adults receive a common class, the others will receive uncommon, rare, or if truly blessed an exquisite class. Above even those are the Legendary classes, granted to less than one in a thousand. Those blessed with a legendary class, live lives lasting hundreds of years, receive skills others can only dream of. Wealth, status, power, all of these will be yours if the system chooses you. Today is Jay’s last chance at a class.

Adam is not a meek man, crushing his foes one by one. While a lucky arrow can take his life, he never cowers from a brawl, fight, or epic battle. With Cask's Champion defeated, the region deteriorates until it no longer poses a threat, allowing the hero to relax with his family. A Champion's work is never done though, evident when stirring to the east demands his attention. Farli, lost their Champion early, becoming a prime target for expansion from neighbors. To secure his home, Adam must venture across the swamps to establish a secure Farli before turning his attention to the lurking threat.

While the competition heats up, and war rages, there is more than battle. The heart matters too, and it often reminds Adam of why he fights. With enemies closing in and political turmoil in distant lands on the rise, Adam will have quell the dangers for some stability.

My life as a Powermancer is about to peak. I’m on the cusp of bringing my Stronghold to its full power and giving all of humanity the ability to defend itself in the Bellum Aeternum, the war between heaven and hell. The only thing standing in my way? The Obsidian Eye. I suppose I should also mention the temptations of both angels and demons. But where would humanity be without a little temptation?
