Buried in grief, Jane "CK" Monterrey holds vigil over her comatose fiancé Brad Hyatt. Jane’s mom is holding down the fort at the office and picks up a case. A penguin is stolen from the zoo. The two main characters, Angelina and Steven, are 17-year-olds who have grown up in very different worlds.
