Murphy’s Law says: If anything can go wrong, it will go wrong. If you’ve stepped on bubble gum you learned about Murphy’s Law. There are many examples of Murphy’s Law. What can you do about them?

The 1960s or Sixties, in the USA, is referred by some historians as a Social Revolution. It was a time of the Vietnam War, civil rights movements, assassinations, and the beginning of a generation gap. A slogan used during this time was Flower Power, which was a symbol of passive resistance and nonviolence.

The 1950s or fifties is referred to as the beginning of the Golden Age of American capitalism. Income grew and many Americans entered the middle class that made up about 60 percent of Americans who were neither very rich nor very poor. Many could afford to travel, buy houses and own cars.

From prehistoric times to the 1800s, the Plains or Great Plains were settled by people who migrated from Asia. Around 10,000 years ago, the earliest settlers of America were the Stone Flaked people (Lithic). They chipped rocks to make heads for their spears to hunt food or to make scrapers. The scrapers were for cutting wooden spear handles or for cleaning animal hides to make them soft for wearing. Do you think you could have survived as one of the Great Plains People?
