Mark was happy enough, working as a mechanic. He didn't know that he was more than that until his mother gave him some keepsakes from his grandfather. Those opened his eyes to a whole world that he hadn't realized he had a place in. Watch him learn to use his new skills.

The fleet is back on Earth, taking some downtime. For once, Bob is able to enjoy himself without Jonesing for the black. Of course, the shepherd comes along with something for him to do. Saddle up, we're headed for the black!

Bob and friends come back to Earth for a little well-deserved R and R. Take a few nice walks in the woods, play a little paintball. Too bad it can’t be that easy. Too many people want Commonwealth tech, for them to ever have any peace.

It turns out that the same skills that let Mark fix machines work on people, too. The mismanagement at the local Association has left quite a backlog of folks who need a little help. Mark's dad thinks Mark is the man for the job. If that wasn't enough to keep Mark on his toes, there's always his love life to worry about.

Andre runs into trouble riding with Rachel while he's on leave. By the time he's back on duty, Rachel has decided to join up with BSR. Her first job is a doozy, though. She has to keep the twins out of trouble. Slavers show up again with hopes of getting the company out of the way. After the fleet explains the error in their ways, they head out to check on a new planet. A stowaway causes trouble for Topper, but it turns out for the best.

On a visit to the bots, Bob and Nikki had to rescue some folks. Andre found a girlfriend and then rescued her, a knight in shining hull metal. Come watch the crew deal with what their shepherd sends them.

Bob thought BSR might be able to do some business with Homm and his people. It turns out he was wrong, but their ancestors had left knowledge the company could use. Watch the crew try to recover the knowledge without getting mixed up in their troubles. Of course, Bob picks up another apprentice for Scotti along the way.

The BSR crew have worked hard, getting the Slow Boatmen settled. They deserve a little time off at home in the Holler. Just kicking back, watching the world go by. Their shepherd has other ideas, of course.
