About this listen

“Solo - The Single Person's Guide to a Remarkable Life” by Dr. Peter McGraw, seeks to celebrate and destigmatize single living. Welcome to the podcast that explores how being single affords you the freedom to be adventurous, start a business, make art, travel the world, get in shape, or simply sleep in when you want to. Join Peter – behavioral scientist, humor researcher, and bachelor – as he interviews happy single men and women and assembles advice from leading experts about health, fitness, money, business, travel, fashion, art, leisure, and of course, sex and dating. For the so-called spinster or bachelor, Solo is the resource for people who are happily single (aka the unapologetically unattached).

This is a great podcast. Finally, something which celebrates being single and asks how we can live our best, most remarkable lives whilst single rather than every other show/media about being solo which treats it like a temporary, shameful state better not spoken about and ended with a conventional relationship as soon as possible! Some of us enjoy and relish the single, independent state, love the lives we build of friendship, careers and experiences. Living in ways other to the accepted norm should be celebrated, and this is what this podcast does.

Intelligent, interesting and inspiring

Debunks so much received conditioning. It should be made into a school curriculum. Very helpful in making ethical and safe decisions when breaking away from the norm of the relationship escalator.

Absolutely fantastic
