Seattle Church Radio

By: Zane Sporleder Evan Dunn
  • Summary

  • We started Seattle Church Radio because it seems difficult to be the church in Seattle; because the church of Seattle seems highly fragmented, and there’s actually data that backs that up. So we’re talking to a variety of church leaders, people from all types of churches here in Seattle, people whose lives are defined by their efforts to be the Church, in the sense of actually organizing around faith in Jesus Christ. Those are the two real criteria we have, is a history of activity in church ministry and leadership, and a clear faith in Jesus Christ.

  • Alice Woldt on Peace, Justice and Crossing Borders in the Seattle Christian Community
    Mar 15 2020
With in this episode we have Alice Woldt whose name we stumbled across in a Stranger article titled Seattle's Best Christians. Alice has been working for decades to bring churches together around a variety of causes. The Stranger article says "If there was a church-based rally or lobbying campaign to protect the homeless, the hungry, the mentally ill, or the oppressed, Woldt was likely there behind the scenes and often out in front." Alice currently is on the board of trustees for Trinity United Methodist Church. She has served on several committees with the Fatih Action Network. Special Guest: Alice Woldt.
