Dalphon Black is this weeks guest on this edition of Purple City Podcast

Dalphon writes, produces, and records all of the music. Recorded over a period of 6-7 years, these songs were created with minimal knowledge in the way of the recording process. A big part of the allure of the project was the lack of knowledge. The point was seeing how far one can stretch a bare minimum understanding of how things work, and how coherent can the outcome be? All of the sounds you hear on this album were recorded directly into audacity using a single USB “rockband” video game microphone.💜

Nicholas Goszer, who records as Nickybaby, was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In his early 20’s Nicky picked up a guitar for the first time and instantly started writing music. His music draws inspiration from his favourite artists, Elliott Smith, Girls, Silver Jews and The Velvet Underground.
