Fascinating
I'm not a Christian anymore, but I love history and this podcast is absolutely fascinating. It's a study of history through the pages of this one book, the Bible. I had no idea about many of the subjects included here, such as the sheer scale of variation between translations of the Bible, when particular segments were added and who was adding them, problems with translating words that don't actually have a direct translation, or what the most recent translations and interpretations are bringing up. Bring raised Christian no one told me any of this! It's a hugely interesting history of this one book which has made such an impact on the world, told by intelligent, warm and engaging scholars with a sense of humor (where appropriate of course). highly recommended
