This is a weekly podcast of funny stories for kids. There are side-splitting versions of my own fractured fairy tales. Also short stories from some of my best-selling books, featuring characters from 'The Adventures of Nanny Piggins' and 'Friday Barnes, Girl Detective'. The stories are perfect for bedtime, long car rides or even if you're just stuck waiting a really long time at the doctor's office. They're written for 7-11 year olds but these are tales the whole family can enjoy. The silliness is ageless. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoy recording it. After years of being a children's author, typing away in my office with only my goldfish for company, I was bursting to tell my stories out-loud and with lots of silly voices! So please - sit back, get comfy and enjoy some amazing, some silly and some just plain ludicous tales direct from my imagination to you.

    Spotify blocked this episode when it dropped on Wednesday. They were worried I was infringing on the author's copyright, but of course, I am the author. I own the copyright. I have the right to record and publish it. Usually this is easy to fix, because Spotify sends me a link so I can get the episode reinstated. But the link doesn't work. I've been messaging with Spotify trying to fix this for five days and have made no progress. So I'm going to see if reloading the episode works. I love the way R.A.Spratt writes her books. They are perfect children’s novels filled with reality, humour and her podcast is perfect to listen to absolutely anywhere- whether that’s on the go, in your house or under a blanket at bedtime. The witty, amusing way she writes can draw any child into a world- if that world is high school with an unusually smart girl detective or a country town full of spy operatives or a regular family of three children with a chocolate loving Nanny Piggins… (any clue what animal she is in the name????)!!!!!
