I had a great chat with Dara. Dara is an outstanding role model for any underage footballer in our county. She captained that great Longford Ladies Team to a Junior All Ireland in 1997 which was an amazing honour. It really was a pleasure to have Dara on to share her brilliant story. In this chat we talk about:
· Her amazing run with the Drumlish ladies team winning 9 Championships.
· The important people involved in making her playing experience so positive
· The success of 1997 and the importance of team morale
· Suffering a very unfortunate injury in her latter playing days and how this impacted her life
