An einem lauen Sommerabend wird Donald Piral in seinem Auto gefesselt und mit Löschkalk übergossen. Dann wird die Heizung voll aufgedreht. Als Piral zu schwitzen beginnt, entfaltet der Kalk seine tödliche Wirkung. Hauptkommissar Claudius Zorn erscheint wenig erfreut am Tatort. Als er auch noch feststellt, dass er das Mordopfer kannte, ist seine schlechte Laune komplett. Wer hasste Piral so sehr, dass er ihn förmlich hinrichtete?
