Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
Ranging from the age of slavery to contemporary injustices, this groundbreaking history of race, gender and class inequality by the radical political activist Angela Davis offers an alternative view of female struggles for liberation.
Tracing the intertwined histories of the abolitionist and women's suffrage movements, Davis examines the racism and class prejudice inherent in so much of white feminism, and in doing so brings to light new pioneering heroines, from field slaves to mill workers, who fought back and refused to accept the lives into which they were born.

Just phenomenal.
So glad I finally got around to reading this and I’m so glad I did. Women, Race and Class is a remarkable piece of writing that discusses the intersectionality of race, class and gender that everyone should read at least once in their lives.

A must read
Absolutely fantastic book and still so (unfortunately) relevant today. To anyone who needs to understand intersectionality and the legacy of slavery, this is the book for you.

I wish I had read this decades ago
incredibly woven history and analysis of contemporary America, and the ways that women's movements worked with and against each other. so much to learn here, relative to the world we live in today.
