Summary
Alas, aside from a demanding career and her role as a single mother (not to mention the hyperspace hairdo), Carrie also spends her free time battling addiction, weathering the wild ride of manic depression and lounging around various mental institutions. Fame and misfortune

What a woman, buy this book.
Absolutely hysterical, what an incredibly witty, insightful woman. Her deadpan delivery was spectacular . It is ludicrous that such a talented woman had such low self esteem. I was crying with laughter when she was talking about Bob Dylan and perfume.
