Creatures from outer realms suck, as any gatekeeper worth their salt will tell you. Soon, the supernatural beauty discovers there’s a reason her uncle kept such a tight lock on her whereabouts, and that she has more than angel blood running through her veins.

Eighteen-year-old Max is an angel, and Rogan’s mentor and guardian. He’s well aware of her tenacious inability to obey orders, though he also knows she’s a fierce fighter. When he’s involved in a scheme that ultimately gets Rogan kidnapped, he must battle his way back to her in an attempt to save her from the darkness threatening to possess her.

This story takes place in multiple realms. I enjoyed the mystical realms better than the earthly one. The twist and turns make it worth sticking with past the first couple chapters. The narrator is amazing!

I enjoyed the narration of Raquel Merediz

A fast paced story with lots of drama and action. Rogan has angel blood and is training to be a Gatekeeper. A Gatekeeper protect the earth form demons who prey on humans. Being a little wilful she goes patrolling on her own. s who are playing on humans.
Max is an angel on earth who is her guardian and is in love with her. The two have deal with their feelings and fighting demons.

A fast paced story with lots of drama and action. I liked the characters and the character development.
Rogan's true parentage was an interesting twist and I would like to see more from those two characters in the rest of the series.
Rogan is a likeable heroine and I'm looking forward to reading about her rescue of the angel in Hades.
The narration is quite good. The British accent was fine but the Irish one was not. I think narrators in general should avoid the Irish accent completely.
