A collection of compassionate, insightful and very moving stories by people who have struggled mentally with both well known psychiatric diagnoses and also reactions to prejudice or being misunderstood, including addiction and living in a cult . I was especially moved by the accounts of gender dimorphism and homosexuality. I love all of Joanna cannons books and this is special.

Brilliant, much broader than I expected. Everyone should read it.
