Summary
Suddenly its not clear whether its her eight-year-old son, Mozzie, or her career, that Cass is trying to protect when she plans to send him to boarding school. The detective assigned to assist her has criminal tendencies himself, and the further in to the case Cass gets, the darker things become. Soon even her eight-year-old son, Mozz, is threatened. Listeners will enjoy Lord's vivid writing and the plot's dramatic twists and turns, while performer Richard Aspel has a knack for conveying the dramatic intensity of the scenes.
