Summary
Half-vampire Ollie inherits his uncle's detective agency in the undead town of Skullenia. With the agency comes his uncle's staff: a zombie who can barely hold himself together, a zombie the size of a phone box and with a single digit IQ, a mad professor, and Ronnie, who has the ability to make himself invisible.
Skullenia seems to be the last place that would need a detective agency. At least, that is what Ollie thinks until Count Jocular commissions him to help resolve a series of unexplained disappearances.
But, has Ollie bitten off more than he can chew? With the help of his motley crew and some quite frankly ridiculous characters, he attempts to solve this perplexing mystery.

The next Harry Potter?
This book has it all - vampires, werewolves, witches, zombies and a young hero called Ollie who takes over his Uncle’s detective agency in the world of the undead. The story succeeds in being very funny, scary, exciting and terrifying in turn and the zany characters are wonderfully brought to life by Toby Smith’s imaginative narration. This book has something for all ages. Highly recommended.

Fab narrator! Quirky, funny, easy listen
The narrator really brings the characters to life. I could picture all the different people/zombies/witches/vampires really clearly thanks to his voice. The writing is funny, enjoyable and easy to listen to. I wanted to hear more!

Fantastic characters brought to life
Great characters with their little quirks, brilliantly brought to life by the narrator. The story flowed well and had some great humor throughout. looking forward to listening to this narrator do the rest of the books.

A pretty good book made great by the narration
The story was really good and appealed to my humour, but the narration really made it. Each character had a funny little personality really brought out in voice.

Hilarious!
Have had this downloaded for some time but time robbers stole my ability to listen to it. It’s really funny and I love the performance of the narrator.

Great Narration
I liked the book. But most importantly, the narration was very good. It is well read and the voice is very pleasant to hear. I also liked the fact that Toby Smith used distinctive tones so that it was clear when there was a character change in a dialog.
