Another great book from Beth

I loved Beths book on wabi Sabi so didn’t hesitate to pick this up, being fascinated by the wisdom of all things Japanese. She did not disappoint. A refreshing look at the current worldwide situation which was both informative, personal and challenging. I liked the pauses for thought at the end of each chapter and the book has left me thinking and questioning my purpose and what I can do to make the future world a better place. Great narration too. Would highly recommend any of Beths books.

A little gem amidst the craziness of Covid19

Absolutely loved listening to this beautifully written, narrated and thought-provoking book. Beth has captured the spiritual essence of the Covid lockdown not just as a harrowing experience for all involved but also as an incredible invitation to reinvent our lives into a "new normal" where love, kindness and quality time with friends and family replaces the old paradigm of empty consumerism and busy-ness for the sake of being busy. A book full of hope for a better "normal".

One of the most powerful books I’ve read

I am so grateful to have found this book, it came just when I needed it and has been a guiding light.

Perfect comforting lockdown listening..

Remarkable book written during the UK lockdown. With a warm hopeful hug for a positive ‘evolving normal’ in the future. We know we are all in this together, but this book is a great reminder of the power of kindness we have experienced during this challenging period.

Not for me

Well intentioned but naive. I had hoped for more practical and evidence-based content. Really it offered very little, especially for those genuinely suffering.
