About this listen
When their teacher, Mrs. Jewls, leaves to have her baby, the kids go through a series of substitutes, each one a little stranger than the last.
©2008 Louis Sachar (P)2020 Listening LibraryI love this book I have listened to all three wayside stories, I think there is only three... I love these books it was the second book I listened to, after ‘Alice Through the Looking-Glass and what she found there’ I fell in love with the books, when I found out there was more than one, I slowly asked my mum to buy them. Also there’s one thing you need to know about me, when I really like a book I will listen/read it repeatedly, do you understand... good, now let’s continue with the book review (joke about the book, sorry if you don’t get it). I like how even if you don’t listen to them in order, it tells you a little about what happened most of the time. I find this book is quite unique, as it has a funny setting which makes many different scenarios. I feel like this is good for young children to teens, depending on your personality, this would also probably make a good family book. I have given this book 5 stars... but I think I’m way to kind to everybody....I do hope Lewis Sachar makes more of this book series, as I love listening to them so much.
Thanks for reading my loooong book review,
Wayside lover
