This is a lovely feel good story of what nurses had to go through with the conflict of the second WW. I thoughtally enjoy these books by Annie Groves.

A potted version of Call the Midwife
The storyline is remarkably similar to episodes from the memoirs of Jennifer Groves which formed the basis of Call the Midwife.
