If you want soft and safe, this isn’t your audiobook. Warpath is all sharp edges and high stakes. Blaze’s no-compromise approach makes this more than just a military operation—it’s war. Salazar is a menacing villain, and La Manada feels terrifyingly real. What really elevates the book is how personal the stakes become. By the final chapters, I was glued to my headphones. Easily one of the best entries in the series.

Bill Runner delivers another hard-hitting tale, and Axel Blaze remains a compelling lead. The story’s urgency and the villain’s cruelty make for a wild ride. However, I felt the pacing slowed slightly in the transition back to the States. Still, the action scenes more than made up for it, and the ending packed a punch. Definitely recommended for fans of the genre.
