I was advised by a friend to do an audio walking tour in Venice to cover the Island.
I listened briefly to the audio before I went and thought it sounded a little dreary...boy was I wrong.
The walks were about two hours each time and covered Venice beautifully. Places we may never have found or noticed you could go to were beautiful.
They give you just enough information and leave you to find out more or wander if you liked.
We loved the contrast also between the "Ghetto" and the more palatial areas.
There was good advice from the previous reviews to make sure you print the maps as these are extremely helpful.
