The characters and the interplay between them are phenomenonal. This is what keep this audio book going as a must pick up and listen to one more chapter kind of thing. The mystery is a little convoluted, with aspects that should have been revealed far earlier but aren't for thr sake of plot. Still great book and we'll worth a listen.

What a fantastic murder mystery and overall fantasy story! It’s filled with so much hope and explores so well how anyone can make a difference. It’s a great exploration of how people change, how kindness is often overlooked, and tackles really well depression and heavier topics without feeling preachy or unrealistic. Fantastic queer and disabled representation too! Overall a delight that I hope more people discover.

I liked it all. I really enjoyed this closed room mystery. I didn't get the killer but I am delighted by it all. I only wish the epilogue was 5 pages longer. Loved it I think I'll listen to thos again.
