Adrian is so perfect, he’s super sweet, protective & the way he loves Valentina, he is so gentle caring. The spice was good. You can't help but feel pity & pride as things progress for both the main characters. It's a relationship you want to work. It does end on a Cliffhanger!

Loved the story and really want to read more in this series. The only problem was the narrator for Valentina , her characters voice was very babyish and it’s was really annoying

I really enjoy the whole world and storyline but the whining weakness of the fmc just ruins it it's so frustrating. Another narrator would maybe have been better but I'm not sure. Got to the point where I'm having to speed Valentina's chapters up to get through them and now I don't think I can even finish listening so I'm going to read them instead

this is a fab duet in the included range, full of everything you need from a dark mafia romance. arranged marriage, possessive alpha male who falls hard and fast. a young woman who has been coping with abuse most of her life and is finally finding her voice to match her inner strength.
the narrator's do a great job with portraying each of the characters. very enjoyable.
