This is the second pimsleur course I've taken and I find the methodology works for me.

Good for learning the basics

I spent 2 months in Vietnam and even practicing the first 5 units proved very useful in Vietnam. Pimsleur is definitely the best method for audio lessons and getting speaking quickly in my opinion.

Overall this course is good and has goven me a good insight into speaking Vietnamese. I feel more confident and have used the language successfully!

The only two issurs I have are: firstly, the pauses are slightly too short, so you have almosy thpight of the right phrase when they give you the answer, a bit annoying. secondly, the words for older woman (Chi-i) and younger woman (Baa) are mixed up, as in they tell you that Chii is a younger woman on the tape. this is incorrect and led to an embarassing.moment in Vietnam!
