I really enjoyed this one, I liked that majority of the book takes place away from Clecania itself as we got to experience different kinds of aliens and it gave the main characters opportunities to have different experiences than MCs from previous books and it's pretty action packed towards the end. Vanessa does come across as selfish in places and there were times she would be mad with Fejo and frankly had no right to be which I found grating. Stephen Dexter narrates this as he has with all the previous books of the series and once again I throughly enjoyed his performance. 🌶🌶.5

The spice was uh la la HOT 🔥🔥🔥🌶🌶🌶.
I also love all the science fiction stuff here, the world building is perfection 👌 this time around most of it takes place between a spaceship and space stations, we all see more interesting and peculiar looking aliens too (even if just side characters).
I got the audio book as well and the narration was excellent but it would have been better if it was a duet.
I'm happy Fejo for his happy ending and Vanessa managed to redeem herself. Now I want to know what happened to Maleke.
