They want to find me. I will find them first.
Juliette has escaped. She has found the headquarters of the rebel resistance – and people like her. People with gifts. She is free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam.
But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch. Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.
In this heart-racing sequel to the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heartand the life of those she loves.

Love it!
I love the book in general, however this is my first time reading it with an audiobook. I love it i just feel like the performance could of been more passionate and especially with relations of different people and how they act. Overall i love the book and the audio but i also noticed how the person changed words to different ones. (Eg she wore shorts but the audiobook said “she wore pants” which threw me off) But i dont like how there is a intro and then it says chapter one, then chapter 2 is actually chapter 1 which gets confusing why not call it “acknowledgements” or the actual name and not a chapter? 8/10

I love this so much
I loved this book and the entire franchise but I’m less excited to have to listen to Adams perspective in the next novel

I got the second one in a deal with the first
Insufferable protagonist stars in a plot that the only purpose of its existence is to service the, albeit creative, overblown metaphors and similes. This author loves the rule of 3, although sometimes it feels like the rule of 300.

Meh
it was a bit dramatic. The performance and the MC. But mostly the main character. I felt exasperated most of the story listening to her reasonings. It felt like I was a teenager again trapped in my own thoughts. The supporting characters are mostly what I stayed for. I find most of them, beautifully complicated and lovely (aka more rounded than the MC, she really is a nagging baby [in my eyes] ). I will however be listening to the rest of the series and I'm hoping that the ending will have a hand in solving most of the irritation I felt, in this book, throughout the rest of the series. The narration was fine. It also felt a bit much, like the heavy breathing, but that may also be a me issue. If I had to be objective in my assesment of the narration I would say that it was done well. It conveyed the story in a believable manner and that it was not out of place. I was just put off by the nagging of the MC and the heavy breathing and emotions. But overall it wasn't bad bad. But I won't be raving about it to anyone.

Wrong chapters!
chapter 1 is actually chapter 8 so you jump straight into a spoiler!! clicked through and they're all jumbled up and labelled wrong. Definitely needs to be addressed.

fine
this and the first book is being sold as a cross between X-Men and handmaid's tale. if you have never read either then I guess it's valid otherwise no. just no. High hopes destroyed. The main character is experiencing PTSD but at times is just whiney and unlikeable. boyfriend also whiney and melodramatic, you find yourself rooting for the "
badguy". The plot is predictable but comfortable. This book is perfectly fine just not special. long car journey approved.
