Summary

Winner of The 2019, 2005, 2002, 2001 and 1997 Masters.

In Unprecedented: Me and The Masters, Tiger Woods shares in his own words the story of the original Masters tournament that took him to greatness, all of which has paved the way for one of the most phenomenal comebacks in sporting history.

In 1997, Tiger Woods was already among the most watched and closely examined athletes in history. But it wasn't until the Masters Tournament that Tiger Woods's career would definitively change for ever.

Tiger Woods, then only 21, won the Masters by a historic 12 shots, which remains the widest margin of victory in the tournament's history, making it arguably among the most seminal events in golf.

He was the first African-American/Asian player to win the Masters, and this at the Augusta National Golf Club, perhaps the most exclusive club in the world, and one that had in 1990 admitted its first black member.

More than 20 years after his first historic win, Tiger Woods explores his life with the game, with the Masters tournament itself, about how golf has changed over the past 20 years, and what it was like winning such an event.

Woods will also open up about his relationship with father Earl Woods, dispelling previous misconceptions, and will candidly reveal many never-before-heard stories.

Written by one of the game's all-time greats, this book will provide keen insight on the Masters then and now, as well as on the sport itself.

Superb

A great insight into the mind of the greatest player to ever pick up a golf club. I just hope Tiger does an extra chapter and re-release, just to encompass his 5th Masters victory and the additional tour wins since this book was written.

Very enjoyable but you need to be a golfer

I enjoyed Tigers honesty but it did jump around a bit
He manages to portray the excitement he had for the competition and gives credit to others for his path to glory especially his dad

Good, but wanted more

Liked it but wanted a bit more of other masters, this basically just tells the story about 1 masters then a bit on the others at the end. But still liked what it had

dedicated, determination, domination

My 7 year old and I enjoyed this book which gives an insight into Tigors life and his relationship with his dad while on tour. very inspiring and demonstrate hard work brings rewards in whatever you choose to do in life which is something I've always told my kids and for him to hear this from the sporting legend I know my son will achieve even more this year.

Hear him dominate

The perspective of the goat is interesting and insightful. An enjoyable listen to the professional and at times personal journey of Tiger. I highly recommend it.

A distinctly average book

It was just okay, a few nice insights but quite bland. There are many better options out there.

disappointing

Very repetitive. I struggled to finish and I love golf, especially Tiger. No problem with the narrator.
