Summary

The long-awaited sequel to the action-packed United States of Apocalypse is finally upon us!

The country is fighting losing battles upon both coasts and from within as the desperate and the despicable fight for diminishing resources. World War III is a full-blown nightmare for the survivors of the initial attack. American forces have been pushed to the brink and have been forced toward the center of the country in a frenzied bid to regroup and strike out, fending off the aggressors before it is too late and she falls completely under enemy control. Darlene Bobich and her group struggle to elude capture from the Sawyer clan, hell-bent on enslaving everyone in sight. Meanwhile, Mike, BT and what remains of the National Guard forces are caught up in a multi-national conflict that could spell the end of the American way.

Can our heroes escape and can anything be done to turn the tide of a war that looks all but lost?

Fantastic As Always

Been waiting a while for the sequel and it was definitely worth the wait, hopefully book 3 does take as long this book did.

bit too much Darlene for me...

I think the better story lies with Mike, the Darlene sides a bit wet. Not really enjoying or getting the stuff with the Sawyers, if your gonna have other countries attack the US, would be better if the story was actually about that. That's why I like the Mike side of it, actually about the war and not some romance novel with a bit of action.

A Book of 2 Halves

The part narrated by Sean was great as usual, other narrator and story poor

Seriously the woman reading was simpering and poor at voices. The story (the part she narrated) was just silly. The main woman character was absolutely pathetic. Mark Tufo on his own writes great stories. I dont think I can suffer no. 3.

story doesn't realy go anywhere before it ends

I love both authors but ,the authors dont gell very well , two totally different styles, and not a lot of substance to the story, it doesn't give me the feeling I've spent my money well.
