Make a deal with the devil

A few years ago, Mustang Sally had to make a deal with her worst enemy in the entire world: Destroyer, the man who killed her father. He agreed to use his technology to reverse a nanotech plague and save the world. His price? A favor, to be collected from Sally at some point in the future.

Give the devil his due

The time has come for Sally to fulfill her obligation. Destroyer needs her to help him save the life of his sister, who has been trapped in a comatose state for nearly her entire life. Sally will have to enter the woman's Dream-world, with help from her teammate Minerva and Destroyer's nephew March. Once there, she must complete an epic journey through the woman's mind and find the key to unlock her consciousness and release her from her coma. She quickly discovers things that can harm her in the Dream-world have dire consequences in the real world, and Sally must swallow her pride to fight for a life precious to the man who stole a life precious to her.

Dreaming about a super hero

I enjoyed this book. This book is back following the super hero Mustang Sally but not quite as we have come to expect, the rest of the super characters we have come to love are missing and Sally and Minerva handle this one alone. Also as this book is mainly set in a dream world anything can happen and unsurprisingly does happen and Sally gets to show off why she is such a great hero. There is a number of twist that will effect the rest of the books and if this is your first time reading or listening to this brilliant series then you might find it has more meaning if you have already be introduced to the characters and the relationships between them all. It was fun to learn more about Destroyer and what happened to him after he killed a lot of the super hero's and like Sally I felt conflicted about him. The question is will be be back? He made such a great baddie one everybody loves to hate but with this book he see a different side to him and the author pushes the envelop out with this book by taking you on another action packed adventure that is literally out of this world.
Even though Destroyer has killed a number of super hero's in his life time, Sally had no choice but to turn to him when nanotechnology threatened the world and like all super villains he would only help if Sally would owe him a favour of his choice. The time has come to repay the debut and the Destroyer needs Sally and Minerva's help. But can be be trusted? Minerva thinks so, which is why she and Sally finds themselves in a whole new world. First is on the moon in Destroyers secret base and the in his youngest sisters dream world. His favour is for Sally to enter his sister's dreams. She has been in a coma ever since she was attacked one night and with all his nanotechnology proving useless in waking her up he turns to Sally for help. Can Sally and Minerva find the key to unlocking her mind? What will happen if they can? More importantly what will happen if they can't?
I liked the narrator, she used her voice well to create pictures in your mind. Does she have super powers too?
