About this listen

The nightmares find me. They steal my breath, slowly suffocating me. I'm scared. I want it to stop. He's supposed to help me. Instead he evokes something forbidden. I know I should run. But I can't. I've made my choice. I want him. There's only one problem.... He's my therapist.

Great narration and the storyline was intriguing but I just couldn't get on board with the FMC. So many things were said that were red flags. I know the idea was to create the sense that we didn't know if they were or weren't 'transferring' but it just came off as overtly pushy and borderline toxic. I hate to be 'that woke reader' but I just kept thinking if the storyline was reversed and the man was the patient I'd be telling the therapist to run for the hills!

Well performed but some causes for concern.

it's quite heavy but it's really good, has lovely moments and intense moments. Well worth a listen.
