Book was very well read! However the story line was not as good as no time to say goodbye. That book is a must read! Make sure to get it next.

The story is really quite interesting until the last third, when it becomes steadily more convoluted and unlikely. The denouement I found unsatisfactory, it was all too messy and over complicated. The dialogue was heavily punctuated with the 'f' word, which was tedious. All in all, a bit of a disappointment, apart from the narrator, who was excellent.

Really enjoyed this, it had me gripped from the start. I can honestly say that by the end of it I’d have liked to smacked some of the characters (not going to which though - you’ll have to find out for yourselves? xxx

My favourite narrator Christopher Lane led me to this novel. Reviews were good and I wasn't disappointed with the purchase. I couldn't stop listening and finished this book in two sessions. There are lots of twists n turns throughout the story that will have you second guessing who did what. Highly recommended.

Book was great. Audio voice was a little grating esp on female voices and put me off story a few times so I wish I’d got the paperback.

What did you like most about Too Close to Home?

This is my 2nd Linwood Barclay book and I'm downloading my 3rd right now.This was again original, thrilling, kept me interested from start to finish and the main character was very believable.The narration was excellent.I listen to my books in the car and found that I didn't want to get out of the car so I could keep listening.

Gripping from start to finish, and kept me guessing throughout. All of the characters are believable: no-one is all good or bad, and people keep getting the harsh consequences of their own behaviour - often in horrific and unpredictable ways. I completed the book in three sittings: it was a real effort to stop listening.
