Summary
Willa Doon has always been shy. Her quiet demeanor was something she's always embraced. That is until Jackson Page moves to town. The one man she desperately wants to take notice struggles to remember her name.
Year after year, Willa stands by, watching as the bartender/playboy drowns his demons in beer and sex. Then one night, he shows up at her door, suddenly aware that the girl he's seen around Lark Cove is now a beautiful woman.
Except what he doesn't remember is that this visit isn't his first. They spent a night together once before. A night he's forgotten, thanks to a bottle of tequila.
A night that crushed a timid girl's heart and set a broken man on the path to heal them both.

Very romantic
What a wonderful series this is turning out to be. I will certainly get the following stories.
Defiantly recommend this story for anyone who likes a romance with a HEA.

Good start but got a little chaotic.
Really enjoyed the start of this book. Loved the whole setup between Willa and Jackson and seeing them get together.
Unfortunately the story became a little chaotic towards the end and whilst the performance was good, I didn’t feel invested enough in the storylines to buy into the drama.
As a big fan of character development, I feel like there was a missed point with Willa’s character growth and would’ve loved to have seen more emphasis on her becoming more confident.
I’m also a big fan of friendships in small town books so was disappointed when Willa’s friends didn’t make many appearances.

Very nice story
This was a really nice story. I didn’t rush to listen to book 2 because I thought it would be too similar to the first. I came back a few weeks later and was pleasantly surprised. I loved Willa’s story.

Nice enough story
This is a nice story but I just found it boring didn’t particularly care about the characters and I kept waiting for something to happen

good book
I struggled with it at first because, I thought, the female narrator didnt really suit the character. The narrator was confident but the character was shy. still I enjoyed it apart from that

I really wanted to shake Willa
Another fabulous book by Devney Perry. I really wanted to punch Jackson sometimes and shake Willa to stand up for herself, but in the end she grew a backbone somewhat.

Lovely
I’m really enjoying this author this was another free book and one I’d recommend, it’s a realistic romance with ups and downs but watch out if your listening in with others overhearing as some sex seems can be quite explicit!

Didn't really work for me.
I wanted to love it after the first book in the series I had high hopes. It had potential, but the story was boring and all over the place at the same time. I really didn't feel any chemistry between the main characters and I absolutely didn't understand their motivations. I'm still gonna keep on reading the series.
