Summary

From USA Today and Amazon Charts best-selling author Meghan Quinn comes a brand-new romantic comedy about a one-night stand gone completely wrong. Laugh-out-loud and steamy with a heart-stopping happily ever after.

I knocked up my best friend's sister.

Figured I would get straight to the point, because how it happened is a mere snippet of the story I have to tell. The real meat and potatoes is what happened after.

Let's start with how she decided to inform me and Pacey the news...together. Imagine that nightmare. I was going into what I thought was a hockey marketing meeting, and then bam! I'm going to be a dad and my best friend/teammate is attempting to imprint my face with his fist.

It wasn't pretty.

Threats were tossed around, friendships were revoked, and then I was marched up to her apartment, suitcases in hand, and forced to live with her so I could take care of her every need. Given how much I've pined for the girl, you would think that wouldn't be a hardship. Wrong.

This is my one shot to win my teammate back. Pacey is the only family I've got, so hooking up with his sister isn't a mistake I can make twice...despite the fact that she's pregnant with my child.

But with every mood swing, every pair of pants that doesn't fit right, and every late night run to find the perfect donut, I'm finding it harder and harder not to fall for my best friend's little sister.

Especially when she kisses me....

Hilarious

I absolutely loved this! This was a rom-com story between quirky, awkward Penny and her brother's best friend and teammate, Eli. A One-night stand during his birthday ends up in another pending birthday of a different kind entirely.

Narration by Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton was fantastic. I really enjoyed this!

Great listen, wonderful story

Love this story and all the rest of the Agitators stories, currently re-listening to them all prior to listening to He’s Not My Type.

This one is also duet and I really love that method of recording, makes listening so much more enjoyable.

Loved it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved this book. And loved the fact that both of the narrators are interconnected in each chapter. Pregnancy troops are not my thing but I really enjoyed this one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sports Romantic Comedy Gold!

I was so happy to be back with The Vancouver Agitator boys in Meghan's hockey romance world. I loved Kiss and Don't Tell and have been dying to see who was up next. I have to say Eli and Penny's story did not disappoint at all.

I actually listened to this one via audiobook and I have to applaud Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro because they absolutely smashed it out of the park. The narration was done as duet narration and it was seamless. They were the perfect Penny and Eli performing perfectly and portraying all the angst, frustration, comedic moments and a whole other host of emotions needed to do this story justice. Just perfection in my ears basically!

Eli and Penny's story is a best friends, little sister, accidental pregnancy story. With Eli trying to step up to the plate to do what is right by Penny after their one night stand; he moves in with her. This of course brings so many opportunities for Meghan's romantic comedy gold. As I was listening away whilst at work (I am a postal worker) I am literally laughing out loud at the scenes playing in my ear, like tears in my eyes laughter. The fact the Eli and Penny are having to get to know one another whilst Penny's pregnancy hormones are going wild is just pure hilarity.

Of course there is more to their story outside of the comedic aspects, Eli has a few backstory things that really stop him from allowing himself to truly love and be loved. Watching him overcome this as the story progresses was so endearing. I also loved how he does everything he can to do the right thing by Penny and be the man she needs him to be. Penny is a quirky lovable heroine and the perfect other half to Eli. As the book unfolds you get a few different stages to their relationship & pregnancy and it was clear to the reader how they as a couple and as individuals were evolving throughout.

So yes, another amazing sports romance from Meghan Quinn that I would happily recommend to people far and wide. With the little tasters that were dotted throughout about the other boys on the team, especially Holmes, I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Beautiful Story! Hilarious!

This is the second book in The Vancouver Agitators series, a Sports Romance. I loved it! Eli and Penny's story is beautifully written, sweet, and sexy. Penny is Pacey's sister (from Kiss and Don't Tell). She is feisty, talkative, and beautiful. I liked her determination. Eli is handsome, enigmatic, and caring. I loved to follow them in their journey to love. Some scenes are hilarious! The characters are great and interesting. Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton did an outstanding job with the narration. This is a great brother's best friend, accidental pregnancy, and sports romance. I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this series. Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.

A great book which is part of a series of 3 so far but you can read it out of order as it doesn't spoil the others ( I read book 3 first )
