I did get a little confused by the large number of characters in this book at first, but as the story unfolded, I came to know them. An enjoyable family saga, made more so by the narrator’s good grasp of accents!

I had no idea what to expect from this Audible recording but really enjoyed piecing together the story as it flips over the years and characters. The writer is good enough to keep it together and even without being able to flip back the pages I could keep up with the dynamics and enjoyed them coming together at the end. Would definitely recommend.

A mildly entertaining story centring on a country wedding. It hops between time zones and lacks suspense. It’s more like a puzzle to piece together. Characters are plausible, if not particularly endearing. Reader is OK but a bit La-La-La and kids’ voices are saccharine.

I’m so made up that I chose this. I think I found a recommendation on Google. I usually go crime. This is not that. It’s compelling and touching. I wanted the book to continue. Highly recommend

Fantastic book.
I thought it may be hard to follow the stranding which was one of my favourite books I’ve ever read, but this truly was an enjoyable read with lots of twists and turns.
