I really enjoyed!

It is an easy listen.
It does remind me of other stories but still very enjoyable.
I have 2 boys and I will recommend the book to them.
The characters are very likeable.

very enjoyable story .

I assume that this is aimed at young adults, given the explanations of basic courtroom terms throughout , but as a much older adult I very much enjoyed both the characters, the plot and the narration. At 5hours the story is concise and was exactly the right length for a winter afternoon spent sewing and wrapping presents . I will definitely consider more in the series.

A Great, Easy Listen

Any additional comments?

This is the sort of book that, like To Kill A Mockingbird, would appeal to both adults and children alike. Grisham endears us to the characters, and grabs our attention. It's also read well by the narrator.

My only gripe is that it's rather short, but that in itself may well be a positive for younger readers.

Another classic

John Grisham is one of my favourite authors and this doesn't disappoint. A very different book for him, but as always it is a page turner. Its all about young Theo and how he gets involved in a big murder case. You may think its far fetched, but when you read this you will realise its not. Highly recommended listen.

Entertaining

Well written and interesting plot. At times I was unsure whether tips was aimed at a younger audience, although that's not necessarily a bad thing. All in all, not bad.

Good but....

Was this for children? I enjoyed this book but found it a bit childish-won’t stop me listening to the rest of the Theo Boone stories though.

Half the length, twice the enjoyment

If John Grisham wrote this story to reach a wider audience, I think he will succeed. This novel is far less technical than his legal thrillers, and much less tense. Still, the story moves along with pace and humour, and the characters are all believable and interesting.

The narrator does a good job and by the end I was hoping the book would go on longer. Great story, brilliantly told.

didnt know that this was a kids book but loved it

as is usual for Grisham, well written and enthralling. I just saw a John Grisham book that I haven't read and bought it on Audible. I was surprised when listening to it when I found out it was written for young readers but I enjoyed it immensely nonetheless
