I really enjoyed this book, listening within a day. Caught my attention from the first chapter, great narrator. Lots of twists and turns. Recommend this book. I have bought more from this author.

BRILLIANT!! This is a typical BRILLIANT book of Daniel’s 😱🤗 thank god Daniel isn’t a woman🤔😰🤣 although in every book Daniel writes he always shock’s me at just how good he is at thinking like a woman does🤔 so many times i think wow that is how im feeling or that’s how i felt…. Not when it’s about murder🤣 but he is SO good at getting every thought right👏🏽 I absolutely love Daniel’s writing and his books never bore me for a single minute and i am a nightmare to please… ask audible 😬 i only leave reviews if i have enjoyed a book though, because I think it’s really really unfair to be nasty about an author’s book☹️ just because i don’t like a book doesn’t mean someone else won’t love it. We are all different so to go hard on author’s is cruel. They work SO hard and out SO much time into their writing and it’s just uncalled for and cruel! So if i don’t like it i just return it and don’t say anything. I don’t really pay attention to people saying rude remarks about a book and go with my own decision 😊 anyway, Deirdra thank you for your OUTSTANDING narration AGAIN 🥰 you are my favourite narrator now!!💯🥰♥️ you really make a story even better! So Daniel please keep using Deirdra and i will buy a newspaper from you with Deirdra reading it🤣 Thank you Daniel for another AMAZING story!! Good twists at the end, just found Daniel Hurst read his Doctors Wife, Widow and Mistress good 3 book read

I am a great Daniel Hurst fan and when I saw this in the audible sale I had to get it. As this is one that I hadnt read or listened to.
I just wanted more from the book - why did Simone do what she did and why. I came out of the listen just wanting more. The ending was the normal Daniel Hurst ending so that worked well.

It was a good listen but not the best from him.

I’ve read many Hurst books and overall I like them. I just don’t feel he finds the right narrators! Lets it all down a bit !

Keeps you wanting to carry on listening, different ending to what you expect. Will listen to more books by this author. The narration voice fits perfectly with the storyline and is a joy to listen to. Reccomend
