About this listen
The Wrexham Killings
When a young woman is discovered in Wrexham covered in someone else’s blood, it seems that a horrendous crime has been committed. The only questions are who and where. But there’s a major problem. She can’t remember a thing–not even her name! Once the grisly crime has been uncovered, the Llancastell CID team must track down the killer before they strike again.
The Wrexham Killings is the sixteenth book in Simon McCleave’s DI Ruth Hunter Crime Thriller Snowdonia series which has now hit over 2 million sales. If you like chilling police procedurals, true-to-life characters, and psychological twists, then you’ll love Simon McCleave’s gripping thrill ride. Perfect for fans of JD Kirk, JM Dalgleish, Rachel McLean and LJ Ross.

The only dissapointment was the narrator's 'generic Welsh' accent. The Wrexham dialect is very particular and differs greatly from the South Walian used throughout. Come on Audible, stop being lazy. You wouldn't give a Yorkshire accent to a Brummie character. I picked up on the same issue when I listened to Anglesey Blue.
Simon Cleave keeps you on the edge of your seat once more

It was a real page Turner with plenty of red herrings and an explosive end.
I would highly recommend this crime thriller.
Plenty of Red Herrings

Good as always

Completely improbable plot, and I use the term loosely. I half expected Paul Gascoigne to pop up with his fishing gear and a chicken supper to talk the perpetrator into surrendering.
Do people really charge around the country, screaming “I’m gonna blow your head off.
I can’t believe the narrator got through this rubbish without laughing. Still, I suppose we all have to earn a living somehow.
Is this meant to be a serious book?
