let's start with the length. you can get a really good leveling/litrpg series like 'He who fights with monsters book 1' and its the length of all 3 books I this series.

The main character is so damn cringe. I'm not learned enough to break down why I don't like this book but I'll try. the main issue I see is the leveling system and MC . it's NEVER introduced in a way which numbers matter. the main character has 1 unique skill in which he can level up faster than anyone else. and despite this. every single plot point he gets caught up in he has to beat people/monsters WAY over leveled than him so being able to level up is never important because the MC never goes and levels up faster than his enemies. he always just beats them despite being weaker. so what's the point of his main skill???

the second thing is the world rules. entire parts of the world and how it works aren't explained until the MC is literally getting dragged into some event. the author just decides when a concrete rule that every person on the planet has to abide by can just change for no reason other than plot. its book 3 and both the dungeon itself and his enemies can and jave just straight up controled everything in it to kill him. how can a story continue when we the readers know that any second the villains or system or whatever can just slap the mc down and end him. these kind of crappy books ate the standard op mc books in japanese media usually isekai. and this one fails to have an op mc most of the time.

going back to the leveling system. everyone In the world can only go In the dungeon once per week. that means 52x20 = 1040 tries for a 20 year career as long as they never miss "dungeon day" and if they were to go in and each run get 50levels. that's 1040x50 = 52000 so 50 levels which is ALOT for a dugeon reward means people who have been good dungeon delivers for 20 years are HALF the level of Claire. who comes and saves MC like the weak boy he is. Claire is a similar age to the MC. this leveling system is so stupid and unfair to people it makes for a bad foundation to write a story.

tl;dr
I couldn't finish the last 1:30 hours of this last book because its a horrible leveling system that makes no sense, it actively tries to kill the mc, the mc is so obviously an immature teenager and written like one. all three books are a similar length to book 1 of the best litrpg/progression fantasy series. it's not horrible and I cared enough to write this review but when I consider what other books have to offer they are by far better value. and don't make me want to skip half the battle to get to the part where the villain stops gloating because we all know how it's gonna end.

It's not terrible. but most of the books I've read are worth the credit I spent on it. these 3 books are not
