This was my first F1 romance and I was hooked from start to finish. The story follows Sienna, a driving race engineer and Finn, a once great driver trying to reclaime his spot on the grid. Their romance simmers against the high stakes backdrop of F1 plus there being filmed for a documentary !
What really sets this audiobook apart for me was the full cast- not just dual narration, but Tv style commentators and race announcers too.
Beyond the romance the story explores misogyny in sports, grief and healing. Fast paced, emotional and exciting.

the story was heart warming and very well paced but the narration made it that much better. hands down the best narrated audio book I have ever listened!

It was a completely enjoyable listen. It was cute with just the right amount of drama due to some emotional hangups of the main character. I like that the spotlight was on both racers and engineering crew.

This was bought for me by my daughter, who knows how much I love F1. I wasn't sure I would enjoy it and to start the format of the narration seemed unusual, it is a mixture of narration and performance but it worked. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing.

The way their personalities clashed at first then grew on each other was just lovely done! Finn is absolutely adorable and has the charms of a Golden Retriever! Sierra is an incredibly charismatic woman and is a total badass! Loved her! Loved him! I ADORED THEM

i don't usually listen to romance novels but as it's set around f1 i thought I'd give it a go. i really enjoyed it. it has well realised characters and a good storyline. it also raises some points that f1 in real life needs to sort out like equal opportunities for women and minorities. it was a bit mushy in places but that's what you expect from a romance isn't it?
overall a really good and enjoyable book

I tried this as a free book and I am so glad I did. Loved the characters, the racing detail and the development of the main characters stories. The multiple narrators and sound effects were perfect. My only complaint is that there isn’t another book. I hope Cara Veloce writes more and would love a sequel to this one

i love silly romcoms but this was a bit too soppy even for me. the narration was also weird - how did they decide who narrates what? didn't always seem logical to me. but still a nice easy listen
