IF you are just starting into survival planning, this is a great place to begin. It is a super practical book with useful tips, why do them and how to execute like a pro. You will learn about food storage, first aid and how to handle emergencies. I particularly like the section about packing a go bag.... what goes in it, what is not needed and what to leave at home. It is not always what you expect. The narrator is straightforward and addresses both a short term emergency survival as well as longterm. Overall I would say it is a great place to begin for someone who may be overwhelmed with the topic.
