I haven't binged a collection of books like these three in a very long time. Much like watching early x files, absorbing stories. Narration is bearable. All in all of you're a fan of the files this is a good listen.

Absolutely enjoyable.

I thought it was a good collection of stories, not as good as the first book but good for an X files fix.

Good

it's obviously not the same as watching a TV episode, but with a bit of imagination it is similar and an interesting listen if you're an X Files fan.

I enjoy this

J Maberry. That’s a good start let’s be honest. The X files. That’s a great follow. Then..... a collection of second rate CBS drama level story’s. A male narrator that makes a dry Mulder ( who we all love) seem positively ocean wet. Terrible narrators. Terrible Story’s. And only edited by Maberry. Terrible shame. Don’t waste your time x file lovers

The Truth is “not” out there

If you are writing an x files story, make it technology appropriate to the era you are writing in. Many of these stories state that they have smartphones Bluetooth and camera phones in an era they most certainly did not. Some of the dialogue is on point but missing Scullys deadpan humour and Mulders intellect leading to them being portrayed as whiney and monotone.

The pronunciation of Frohike (Frow Hike not Fro he key ) drove me crazy, such a simple thing to check if you are unsure.

Most of the stories are ok but treat this book as AU for the most part.

Smart phones in the 90s?
