Two men exiled to an untamed land must capture love.

Ever since Cambridge-bound Colin Lancaster spied on stable master Patrick Callahan mastering another man, he's longed for Patrick to do the same to him. When Patrick is caught with his pants down and threatened with death for his crime, Colin speaks up in his defense and confesses his own sinful nature. They're soon banished to the faraway prison colony of Australia.

Patrick never asked for Colin's help, and now he's stuck with the pampered fool. While it's true that being transported to Australia is a far cry from the luxury Colin is accustomed to, he's determined to make the best of it and prove himself. Patrick learned long ago that love is a fairy tale, but he's inexorably drawn to sweet, optimistic Colin despite himself.

From the miserable depths of a prison ship to the vast, untamed Australian outback, Colin and Patrick must rely on each other. Danger lurks everywhere, and when they unexpectedly get the chance to escape to a new life as cowboys, they'll need each other more than ever.

This was a good listen, and Joel Leslie was a great narrator again, as always.

I'm judging this for what it is, a fun romantic adventure with intimacy and tenderness. I didn't expect much, the front cover alone made me cringe but I'd run out of J.k. Charles, and I was reading a rather intense book I didn't want anything distracting from. I figured this was unlikely to take much attention so thought for free I'd give it a try. It was lovely, nicely paced with a lovely array of characters. I'll have to investigate more of her work. Will happily listen to it again. I stand very much corrected.

Wow I loved this, the whole thing was great! The descriptions were so vivid it felt like I was there - I could practically smell the stench on the ship, and feel the heat of Australia. Crikey Patrick really does make poor Colin work for his love and acceptance, but the quiet protection and care from both men was lovely, as was watching their relationship develop! Spot on narration, I adore Joel's Irish accent, utterly swoon worthy.
I can't get enough of Kiera Andrews and Joel Leslie. More of this partnership please!

A story of bravery and hardship and love of two men winning through. Great story well narrated and gives a sence of life in the early days of Australia's outback.

I loved how it was a slow burn love story which felt paced and real. I loved the characters and how they came together. Listened to it twice as enjoyed it so much.

This was a beautiful and captivating love story and I thoroughly enjoyed it being a journey from England to the AU outback. The HEA was delightful and the narration was perfection.

A Porn scene in every chapter , with an implausible storyline . However, I did enjoyment it. Even if Patrick sounded like Gerry Adam’s.
