About this listen

Even disguised as a priest, Mat can’t resist a man kneeling at his feet, begging to be punished.

Being a bodyguard for London’s Polish Mafia had its benefits. Fast money, fast cars, and an endless stream of hot men fuelled Mateusz’s insatiable lust for life. But when he takes out the son of a rival Mafia boss, he is forced to flee to a remote island in the West of England.

Posing as a priest, Mateusz hopes he found the perfect disguise. Until a handsome stranger shows up to confession, begging for punishment. Can Mateusz rein in his ferocious carnal desires? Or will his cover be blown to smithereens?

As a newcomer to the island, Peyton’s social life is limited to a dram at the local pub. Everything changes when he attends a mass on a Sunday and his gaze lands on the man he can’t have. The one in a cassock.

A standalone MM book 4 from Pursuit of Love series. Please refer to the TW/CW inside the book or on the author's website.

Mat and Peyton, oh my, these two men stole my heart while I read this. There was Kink, sweetness, steam, hurt/comfort and that was just their relationship.

You also had the Mafia, murders, hiding away (hence being disguised as a priest), secrets and plenty more going on as Mat and Peyton navigate their taboo relationship and decide where their futures lie in relation to their family businesses and their own happiness.

I loved how being on the island and interacting with the community whilst posing as Father Mat, changed something in Mat, and then meeting Peyton and exploring both of their needs changed things for them both.

I couldn't put this down, I loved seeing the characters from previous books, including Stitch Me, I always enjoy interconnected characters.

The narrator did a wonderful job bringing Matt and Peyton to life.

kinky and sweet

Reread as audiobook. Excellent narration, which makes a really good book even better.
Story - excellent story with a few very unusual twists (especially the aforementioned use of religious artefacts). I really enjoyed both MCs, and their chemistry was amazing. There was plenty of action, and I particularly appreciated Mat's views of the church.

Mat's story is my favourite of all the Pursuit of Love books I've listened to so far. Set in the world of the mafia, it has a darkness that wasn't present in the previous stories.

When Mat is taken to safety on a small island after a tragic incident, he quickly settles into the role of a priest, which is his new identity.

It is in this role that he meets Peyton. The handsome young man awakens feelings in Mat that are incongruous with his role as a Catholic priest.

What follows is a steamy affair involving the inappropriate use of church paraphernalia.

The story's spectacular finale was extremely exciting and emotional.

Freddie Wills is now one of my favourite narrators. I particularly love the dialects he uses to bring each character to

Very exciting!
