Brought to life

The question of why people sing is explored through personal anecdote, interviews with a range of singers and historical, philosophical studies. This is all brought to life by the brilliant narration of Brigid Lohrey, with character voices, her own fine singing voice and excellent interpretation of meaning. The narrator conveys the quite complex ideas with understanding and clarity.
