Summary

Good story, but tedious
Struggled on to finish the story. Narration is OK but far too much detail to dialogue. Story Could have been half the length too much unnecessary detail in conversation.

Persevere with this book
The narration is excellent and the characters are good but the story does go on a bit. I was about to give up but then it got going and I enjoyed the rest.

Great novel
At first I couldn’t get into this, however it really does repay some perseverance. Really liked the narrator as well, the accent was subtle rather than over the top and I thought the Norwegian accent and speech was excellent (although I’m English so what would I know!). Going to download the second book now!

Long and tedious
Only made bearable by speeding up to 1.5. Naive and adolescent writing. I struggled to finish it.

Yes some of the narration is slightly odd but the story so very very good. After a while you get used to the narration. The story is very very good.

Yet another excellent listen from Mari Hannah and Tim Bruce. Only problem is that Time voice is so relaxing it's taken longer to finish cos I fell asleep. Looking forward to book 2.
