About this listen
Billy Bob Sheldon is a famous Texas criminal attorney that is known for helping innocent people that are wrongly accused by the state. Jack Kershaw is the equally famous former Texas Ranger turned PI that investigates the cases and too often has to provide Billy Bob with some 45 caliber help, because some criminals just don't like to face justice. Billy Bob and Jack defend two pretty young school girls, who are accused of murdering two classmates that had been bullying them.
©2002, 2021 Larry Ray Hill (P)2021 Larry Ray HillThe reader is taken on a step by step defence programme which includes a spot of shooting in addition to interviews as well as the trial itself. Both Billy Bob and Jack are colourful characters and the text conversation driven.
Narration by Gavin Bruce was skilful and enjoyable as he put individual voice to each protagonist, further gifting them with personality. A good performance.
And the book itself was also good but needed expansion to make it flow better, not much, just a little more to smooth transition between scenes. My thanks to the rights holder who, at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy. I really enjoyed this amusing, relaxed and quick read.
