This book is a whirlwind of emotions. With heartache and love it’s definitely a tear jerker. The chemistry between these characters is brilliant. A fantastic performance from both Stella and Lance.

Leslie Pike pens another wonderful romance novel, the story drew me right from the start, capturing my attention and holding it for the entire book. There are many memorable moments in this book including how the two lead characters first meet, you could even say Nobel fell for Dove not long after laying eyes on her. Nobel Lyon is an attorney who works behind the scenes, he prefer to be in the background, loves his home, the land and his dog and best friend Maudie. Dove Solomon grew up with her Grandparents, they taught her to love the land and to live life to the fullest and to go after what she wants. She is a bit mystical and has an ability to see visions of the future, that sight helps to push her in the right direction and toward her destiny. Dove reaches forks in the road and has to make decisions that not only affect her future but that of the members of the band she is in, Montana. But the one thing Dove knows for sure she is destined to be with Nobel, at least that is what she thought and felt. I thought those two were great together and perfect for each other, the chemistry between them was smoking hot. This is a fabulous opposites attract romance, the story is beautifully plotted with plenty of heartfelt emotions, drama, some loving moments, heartbreaking ones and some steamy hot ones. This is the second book of the series but can be enjoyed on it’s own, there is a great camaraderie amongst the Lyon’s family members and I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series, I hope it comes to audio soon. Leslie Pike, thank you for this wonderful story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Stella Bloom and Lance Greenfield are talented narrators and voice artists. They did an awesome job portraying the characters, giving each their own distinct voice and personality. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding convincing and believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Lance Greenfield played Nobel’s role with perfection, captured his sincerity, as well as all his emotions in his inner dialogue. Stella Bloom’s Dove was spot on too, carefree at times and deep and meaningful at other times. Both were awesome with the secondary characters as well. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this awesome listen!

A perfect combination of dual narration . Stella Bloom and Lance Greenfield , both brilliant as narrators and together, makes this brilliant book and characters come alive.

This is a book has the right amount of romance , steamy hot parts and great plot.

Nobel is an attorney, who loves his life of solitude. Gemma is a singer in a band and a free spirit. Lets say the I liked the idea of a man falling at a woman's feet.
These two may be complete opposites, but fate has destined them to be together.
I loved the humour , family , heat and characters.
Entertaining, A very enjoyable listen .

The twists and turns this book took was great. Loved the passion between dove and Nobel. My heart aches for them all but so worth your time. Stella and lance’s narration was fab!

First of all, I loved the characters. Nobel, the introverted older man who enjoys calm and solitude and has a huge heart full of love, and Dove, the ambitious singer with a lot of energy, were delightful and compelling. Together, they were cute and sexy. I even liked their slight selfishness. They both felt real.

Family was at the center of the story–Nobel and his loving one, Dove and her chosen one–and they had a big influence on the romance. Meddling, helping, threatening, they had all kind of effects on it, and created the drama and the resolution that kept the story going. All of their members were well defined characters, with stories of their own and their own agenda too. I especially liked Nobel’s parents.

The book was also all about the choices you make–or the ones you refuse to make, that equate to choices too. Some of them are easy, others not, and they can imply changes you aren’t willing to make too.

There was a lot I appreciated about the story, but I guess I should have read it instead of listening to it. The narrators are good, don’t get me wrong, but I felt their style didn’t match with the book’s atmosphere or the characters’ energy. It wasn’t unpleasant to listen to, though I probably missed some feels.
