We kick off with Calista and Rylan's second chance romance,which stressed me out.
Honestly it is obvious that they love eachother but because they live in different places they can't be together.
I Love Rylan he is completely open and truthful to Calista about how he feels and that he loves her.
Its Calista who is the one who seems to want to just throw it all away and I couldn't understand how she could dismiss the spark,the chemistry and attraction between them.
Calista and Rylan have known eachother since they were only little,competing with one another over Soccer...They both play Soccer but it is only Rylan who becomes professional..Calista's injury ruins her chances of pursuing Soccer.
They dated for a while until their lives grow apart and they go their seperate ways.
This book goes from past to present so you are able to understand and see how their relationship developed through-out the years.
Now Rylan is back in town for 3 weeks for their mutual friends wedding,he is best man and Calista is maid of honour.
So they have to be closely working together on projects before the wedding,and all the past comes back to haunt them.
The Narration is performed by Erin Mallon and Joe Arden and it is Fabulous,they really captured Calista and Rylan perfectly and enjoyed listening to them both.
I adored this story although it did frustrate me at times and it was a little heartbreaking,because I just wanted them to get together without the drama.
There was also some funny moments in this story like when they get locked in at a storage unit...it was hilarious and the banter between them is glorious.
Another great story from Piper Rayne and I am looking forward to book 2.
